Thank you. I've just been on some other sites where people are unbelievably sensitive and love to complain and so I'm trying to do better, but you guys seem pretty easy going here. I appreciate it. : )
I can't think of a horrible purchase to be honest. When my girls were young I always fixed up baskets (or flower pots) of goodies and gifts at Easter. I downplayed it but when they were little the gift thing is fun. One year I had put a couple of treats in their baskets and added a few practical items and then ran to the bookstore to buy them each a book. I looked on the clearance table and found two copies of a book about steps to stay on a Faithful and healthy life, I thought. Easter morning my older one came into the kitchen laughing because she knew I had no idea the book was the AA 12 Step Program. To this day we laugh about that. But hey, the books were only $.99.
