Guess there's always that part of me wanting to take her mental issues into account but it's becoming quite overwhelming. Unless she's so far gone that she can't see how many people are bothered by what she's doing so keeps right on doing it, then it moves from having mental issues to being callous and selfish.
Yeah, that's kinda the point I was trying to formulate but stated it awkwardly. Doesn't care because she's too far gone or doesn't care because she's callous and selfish. Guess I've been subscribing to the "too far gone" theory which has kept me somewhat patient. But my patience finally ran out earlier when faced with the daily tsunami so I removed her from my home feed. I'm sorry for her troubles but.... a) we all have troubles and b) that doesn't mean my time here should be made unpleasant because of them.
Over the last few years she's gotten worse and worse. According to the leaderboard, she has posted over 13,000 questions in about the same amount of time as the next contender who posted about 1300. She may not be able to stop herself from doing it, but she has also stated explicitly that she's here to please herself and no one else.
Wow, that's really an eye-opening statistic. Couple it with the fact that unless I'm mistaken, she's never (or almost never?) responded to a discussion posted by another user and my decision to take your suggestion and remove her from my home feed was certainly the correct one.
