Well, according to Marguerite and Sharonna, and I might add a majority of democrats on this site, it is because I possess neither the education or brain cells to see the wisdom of being a democrat...
Now, while I find both sharonna and marguerite very unique and likeable, I also find their comments mostly inaccurate and incoherent, devoid of fact and reason. I find it a bit racist to suggest because I am old and white and a republican I must be inferior. I guess they do not see the irony in using race and age as a reason in their accusation of being racist.."All you white men are racists"
So my dear, if you are wondering why dems aren't winning white men, and I have to disagree with the premise, it could be that people dont react to well to insults.. "Aww Come on over to our side, you uneducated, braindead, racist homophobe"
Democrats are "fighting" for women, lgbt, minority, immigrants, every single group EXCEPT white men, and they are loud and proud of it.
By the same reasoning, you cannot say " poor people are lazy" and expect poor people to embrace you...so its not just the dems...and it is certainly not all dem's

Please realize that I am commenting as an uneducated republican, so forgive me...
So you seem to believe that if you are an immigrant, illegal or otherwise, th only position you can achieve is that of a field worker or maid. Hmmmm....
It is not just illegal immigration, all of whom are not sub wage occupations, look at the building industry, It is the immigration policy as a whole. It is that most citizen college graduates in the STEM fields cannot find jobs because of the flood of immigrants. Its not just people swimming across the rio grande, it is all the people staying beyond their visa expiration.
There are credible studies that suggest, and backed up by the governments own numbers, that most of the job growth in the past 15 years have gone to immigrants. So its a bit more complicated than "OMG, whos gonna pick our lettuce"
Why do you only see things in their most basic of forms., "White men are uneducated", "They only know how to do manual labor".."They all think like this"...
Now I know the basket of carrots Hillary is promising to every specific group but white men, women, lgbt, minorities, immigrants, Now you tell me what promise Trump has made specifically to white people...

As far as your argument goes, I ain't buying it.. I asked if you, personally, had been discriminated against. Apparently not, so, you throw up this red herring about affirmative action.. When the Supreme Court voted in favor of gay marriage, it was because the plaintiffs argued that THEY suffered damages because gays can marry. It was an oft used argument by the anti crowd, but the plaintiffs couldn't offer any PROOF whatsoever of it's validity.. I want to know specifically HOW affirmative action negatively impacted YOU.
As a matter of fact, the Supreme Court just ruled in FAVOR of affirmative action.. Ipso facto, it CAN'T be discrimination..

They have promised to have the bike ready by wed. so im keeping my fingers crossed. Its a new bike and I haven't been able to ride it yet, so maybe next weekend I can get out on it.
I live in the best ridin area around. On any given weekend there will be hundreds of riders that come up here to ride these roads...
