There is a disclaimer at the beginning of the movie "The 7% Solution" . I think it applies to today in America, don't you?

 "This story is true. All the facts are made up"! Cracked me up. Very funny. At least the disclaimer tells it like it is.

    Or political book or historical book or "tell-all" book. People aren't interested in truth. They cleave unto anything that supports their ideology regardless of the degree of absurdity and harm it does. That is certainly not limited to religion. While religion has caused much harm it is Politics that is the Hands down  grand winner. Look at the Doofus Donny administration. Where are we going? To he** probably unless someone stops him. A race war? Why not? The racists are locked and loaded and anxious for it. One of the white racists said it's coming. All they needed  was the support of Doofus and they got it.
