It depends on what I'm doing and how "receptive" the object of my attention at the time happens to be to each browser.
For most plain vanilla Internet browsing I use Opera (it has an integrated Flash engine). My fall-back is Firefox. But when I need to use JAVA to access a particular piece of equipment's WEB server I use the latest version of Internet Explorer as it seems to handle JAVA better that the other WEB browsers, for the moment.
Yes. I was having trouble getting on AM and Just Asking recommended it. It worked like a charm and saved me from getting too far behind. (something about going through a different ISP or something ... I'm not sure.)
Thanks. I'm curious about it because it appears to be a safer browser to use for banking. Do you sense it is slower than other browsers. (I'll leave you alone now) ;)
I only used it for a week or so, back when AM was having real problems, so I really don't remember much of it's performance except that it cured my problem. It doesn't seem to have caused me any problems since (leaving it installed), so I just keep it for emergencies.
I use Internet Explorer, but it becomes more unstable by the day. I frequently get a message that Internet Explorer has stopped working and it auto-closes the program and reopens it.
