Like pets.  Sometimes their lives may be shorter, but they are protected from the onslaughts of mother nature and the cold, cruel world.

    It's give and take here.

P.S.  Half of them are fake too.  I think you better find another ax to grind.
Mall Silks is the premier manufacturer of artificial and preserved plants and trees. Since 1975, Mall Silks has been producing materials ranging from desk plants to large artificial trees over 30 feet tall. Mall Silks is primarily a supplier of large-scale artificial trees for indoor commercial environments and has over 39 years of experience in manufacturing and installing large replica trees.

Mall Silks helped to pioneer the large scale silk and preserved tree industry and through the years has earned an international reputation for the most lifelike artificial plants and trees available anywhere.

As a division of one of the country's largest and oldest interior landscape
companies, we know our plants must look as realistic as possible to meet interior plantscaper’s expectations.

I know.  How about them millenials?
