"It's just human nature". What does that mean? That every single human being will react the same way to something?

Just like saying "boys will be boys" when they do/say something horrible. Or disgusting sexually explicit speech being defended as just "lockeroom talk".  Write it off to "human nature" and move on? I dunno.  Something stinks when that is good enough to wipe a filthy infected slate clean.
