The word "People" is defined in the preamble of the Constitution for the entirety of the document. That definition appears in the first three words: "We the People of the United States,". It means ALL the citizens of the United States. It does not encompass citizens of any other sovereignty. The Preamble defines the context in which the remainder of the Constitution must be interpreted That concept is reinforced throughout the Constitution and in It numerous Court decisions.

You have the verbiage of the 2nd Amendment wrong too. While the version that you present was floating around the nation back in the day, the only version that actually counts is the one ratified by the several States and authenticated by the Secretary of State at the time. It reads:

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Ok. You have children. What if they are out of state and you God forbid get into an accident and they need to get home and there is no time to drive, and they cannot get on the plane because someone terrorist is using a name similar to theirs or vice versa?
And no body even knew it was an issue until they are trying to get on the plane and there is virtually no way to correct it.
So because it is a right that you are not concerned about exercising, you don't care if others loose that right?

The preamble IS part of the Constitution and therefore part of that "Supreme Law of the Land". Your misdirected opinion to the contrary doesn't change that fact.

And I'm familiar with Cornell Law School's WEB site's inaccurate 2nd Amendment verbiage. That doesn't change the actual language of the 2nd Amendment as ratified by the several States and as authenticated by the Secretary of State at the time.

@Harry Yes your right if a criminal wants a gun.... they will break the law to get it. The antigun law disarms the law abiding citizen.
The NRA doesn't support violent excons having their 2nd amendment rights restored.
Yes we have the right to bear arms. We also have the right to education (where did you get the idea..we don't? In fact children are required by law to attend school) Guns in fact save more people from violence in this country than are harmed. And if you compare violence per capita UK violent crime rate is nearly double that of the US.
If you don't like our 2nd amendment rights then please stay in the UK and you won't have to worry about it.But me and my gun is not anything you need to fear.
But I am curious as to how you plan to stand against someone or some thing trying take your rrights?
