Here's the rub.  Whatever you think, is instant without the physical.  So tupperware would be sort of a redundancy up there.  If you get mah drift.

Do you think we'll meet loved ones up there? I'd so like to believe that.

I suspect that anything that is "good" down here will also be present "up there."

  • The most relaxing places for me are sitting at the beach or being out on the water at a lake...

Or snuggling in bed. : )

  • Well, I'm kind of a fixer upper, I guess?
I've been driven hard and abandoned by my previous owner.
Some lucky lady might want to pull me out of the bush and wash me off? LoL!
I think with a little TLC a better job and some new clothes I might have potential?
    Thanks. : )

I'd say you definitely have potential. ;-)

Just curious, if you don't mind my asking, did you and your ex ever get any marriage counseling? I only ask because it sounds like there's still a very strong attachment. Is the separation (divorce?) recent?

We never did get counselling, but after 15 years I don't honestly think she wants to be married anymore.
She wants to lie and sneak around and be free, but she also wants to have the appearance of a marriage and she wants me to love her and make love to her even after she betrayed me.
We get back together, it works for a little while then she goes back to her old ways and I can't handle it anymore.
We've been separated for a little over a year.
I still have an attachment because I loved her and I was with her since I was 21, but I also hate the sh_t that she's done and I know that she will never change so I have to just slowly let her go.
Hopefully one day I will be completely recovered and I can love someone else without fear.

Sounds like she wants to do some "wild oat sowing" she feels she missed out on.

You spent a long time together and it's still early days being separated, so the attachment is certainly understandable and of course will always exist to some extent because you share a child.

Yet I sense in you an open heart and really believe that when the time and person are right, you will love again and love wisely having learned from your experience.
