Are immigrants traitors to their countries of origin? Leaving them and going to live in an elsewhere that is new to them?

Immigrants do not try to DESTROY their countries of origin. Traitors work very hard to do exactly that. Some say Americans were traitors for leaving England. I think not. They did not try to destroy what they left behind. They simply wanted to be free to live another life. Whatever you think is fine with me. We either agree or disagree. That's life.

My English ancestors were not traitors, merely farmer wannabes. There was not much farm land available in Sheffield, England, so they came to America to grab some affordable land. I was talking to an Armenian truck driver, he told me he had brought his family over so his kids could get a good education, I guess Armenia doesn't have too many choices.
