    I rather say I've been disappointed (not regretful) in helping someone..especially when they put them self back into the situation they needed help from..

    Not that I can remember. Even when it didn't turn out so well, it was a learning experience.

    Well, no, I never regretted helping.  However, one Thank You will do.  It embarrasses me when people are overly appreciative.

    Yes. You know the wise adage no good deed goes unpunished? I definitely have suffered when being kind and helpful and just generally a good person.

    I have never regretted following my instincts to be kind and helpful. The only circumstance where I might regret it, is if I turn out to have been enabling someone to do something they should not be doing.
