After coercing the father(even this father knew Muhammad would rape his child but saw no other option), Muhammad married the little girl, but because she was very ill, he waited until she was 9 to have sex with her. Still, this didn’t stop him from molesting her before her 9th birthday. From her own words, the “mother of the believers” confirms her own rape:    Narrated Aisha that the prophet wrote the marriage contract with her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. But I myself only have too much first hand experience with this religion. And as we speak, people are still killed leaving Islam all in the name of religious authorities. It tends to be a problem where Islam is the main religion. You can take any example you want but religion don't exactly inspire rational thought threrefore a white man converting to Islam don't prove much. No good God would have a slavery-owning, child-raping polygamous war-hungry 'prophet' such as Muhammad. Islam's problem is how its tenets cannot even be questioned, and the following of the mostly Old Testamant which means violence and all sorts of atrocities. They need Jesus. Who knows what makes people do the things they do. Some would say that even meat eating is barbaric. However for our lives to exist, so many must die (to nourish and more) and if all life is precious does this not even make even human survival wrong? After all, we have reached to this capacity in terms of awareness and empathy for living creatures so don't we have the responsibility to do the right thing? And of course eons of patriachal society (read any religious text lately?) and the subjugation of females may have contributed to this problem. Well, if you see it as a problem. Some say the need to see your genes propagate made it that way (hard to tell who is the father without paternity testing). And when bloodlines and lineage became massively popular (inheritance, loyalty, property, labor whatnot).I'm not saying women are angels. Many of them felt 'justified' for revenge or for prevention of reoccurence. Some survived Jews from camps were also victimised the same way in Berlin although they are Allies! To me it did not make sense, the women did not kill nor torture. So how is this justice? The horrors the Red Army inflicted was something only monsters could do, in glee, in comradeship, in the name of loyalty and justice. This is after they won. So many girls committed suicide from them and were in AGONY, in and out of consciously while the men queued in from of their bodies strewn on the streets. Some even begged to be killed after the brutality of the gang rapes (those who can still speak possibly). There are evil running around in this world that should be chained down to hell.  less

It tends to be because life gave them a bad hand and they never had another option. In other words, I'd wager that the vast majority of them are what you'd call vulnerable, abused, at risk, poor, from broken homes, mentally-ill. They trade sexual services for money (or home, protection, food and the like) and they can accept of reject. They are the victims. On the other hand, someone who has sex against another's will is the perpetrator of rape. Fun fact: rapists don't always use 'rape' to describe what they do, even when they know fully well the wrong that is involved, or that the victim could never have had any say no matter what.  less
