I guarantee anyone who did not get a job/promotion because of affirmative action. Such as when a gov construction job is designated as "minority preferred ". Contractors submit their bids. Should go to lowest bidder. But if a contractor is the only minority, they can bid the max bid for the project. And they get the contract. And what do many do, they subcontract the job out to the contractor who had the lowest bid.
