If you were really poor and won a lot of money would you know how to handle it?

"Sure" ... first thing: Rip the phone out of the wall!!!

I would definitely need some help or I'd end up giving it all away in no time and I'd be broke again. 

Well I'm not poor and yes, I could handle a large sum of money. I have a trustworthy financial/estate guy.  

I've never known of anyone passing by a cash prize.  I know that many people have passed up prizes of real property because they were required to pay taxes prior to taking possession, and couldn't.  That is a shame.
