Neelie, I have a chocolate g-string in our fridge and wash my undies on a regular basis. I have never heard of disposable thongs except the kind you wear on your feet. If this is the kind you are referring to, yes. They aren't very comfortable but do successfully carry you over the hot pavement and hot sand to get to the water. They're only about 5 bucks and can easily be thrown into the trash after a day without any remorse. Wellllll, I do feel badly because there is no reason to buy something and fill the landfills with wastefulness. I don't do it often but have when I'm in a pinch.
