We are different. We are special. We will succeed where all others failed. Why do humans kid themselves like that? Especially Americans?

Dating/marrying the guy that is a known player/cheater/liar/conniver because you KNOW you will tame him because he really loves you and you are special to him. RIGHT!  How often is that true?

What makes people really think they are so special others will change their spots because of that specialness? Is it an inborn thing or developed by being told how wondrous fair we are by our parents so we get a distorted view of what reality is? America believes we are special and will overcome anything other countries could not. Well maybe we are, may be we aren't but I sure don't want to test it. Do you?

    There are way more Chinese than there are Americans. If they flex their muscles people will notice. India too. We are way outnumbered. We're small potatoes. Puny in size, loud in voice/demeanor. Thank you for your reply Sbf! :)
