Prez spent more time in the air than on the ground. Just another photo op? Why did he even bother going to Texas? He goes back to Texas Saturday sez he. Will he do a better job of presidenting then? If not then, when?
The fact that you have to ask, is the reason it is so hard to answer you.
She is not concerned with anything BUT her appearance. She has no clue that glamour is not the issue of the day. Then she needs to go to her hotel room and put on her designer work outfit with matching sneakers. What fun.
Meanwhile, no one cares what she is doing why they are waiting to be rescued because we all know that she is there for window dressing and photo ops and will in effect do NOTHING as usual.

I have known plenty of women who will not step outside unless they are looking just right. Makeup, dressed etc...doesn't matter to me. So, no don't get why the media or anyone else cares.
I'm thinking the answer should be very obvious, but of course I could be wrong---(although I find that unlikely). Perhaps you might choose to give it a little more thought?.
I think if he CARED? He would dig into his pocketbook and find some losers to protect him.
They ain't THAT busy all over the nation that they cannot help Donnie, especially if he donated a few bucks to their paychecks. LAME excuse. I'm sure he can get his Duck Dynasty buddies to pitch in and help him with some galoshes. He is not that delicate.

Well, HE WILL manage to spin this to his advantage. My 2 Cents is already defending him:

All he needs is people like that to do the convincing for him that he has not done anything wrong ever and he is the hero in this scenario.
Maybe he will open a stadium like in New Orleans and put all the starving poor in there so they can have it a lot easier than their former lives. That is what Barbra Bush said about that travesty, Hurricane Katrina.
It does not seem we have learned anything much about state-wide disasters from that. But Trump? He doesn't have to do much but lie. He can send people into shelters and put his name on the buildings.
That's not at all what happened. Bush didn't land in New Orleans because those first responders had plenty on their hands without adding a Presidential Security detail to the mix.
As to Trump . . . he did the smart, decent thing and waited a couple of days for the Governor and other State and local authorities to get a grip on the situation before putting in an appearance. (The Fed can't legally do anything until the State asked for help, which was yet another problem with the New Orleans debacle.)
And so far he and everyone else is doing a stellar job with the getting help to those displaced by the storm, unlike what happened in New Orleans. The difference is that Republicans are handling the Texas mess. Democrats "dealt" with New Orleans and wanted their "cut" before moving forward with helping people. In fact, I'm pretty sure that the then mayor of New Orleans is STILL a guest of the Federal government because of his corruption convictions. (Comparatively it makes Sheriff Joe look like a jaywalker.)
