One lie seems to lead to another and before I knew it my ex and I were completely disconnected and she was lying about everything. It starts to become a habit. Anytime there's a disagreement there's never any compromise or solution both partners just go ahead and do what they want behind each other's back and it's confusing and hurtful when strange bills and debt collectors start showing up or strange men call the house looking for your wife etc. If you can't be honest and be yourself and communicate with your partner then it's a big problem in my opinion. I guess I'm really sensitive about being lied to. It feels like they don't love or respect me and I'm just being taken advantage of.
You are exactly right! Whenever someone lies to you for sure you are being disrespected. No one who loves you or respects you would ever lie to you. I don't give a rat's a** if people say "everybody lies". That's bullsh**. I don't and I'm not unique. Just because they are liars they ASSUME everyone is as unloving and disrespectful as they are. The more you do behind the back of a partner that needs to KNOW what you are doing, the less of a partnership it becomes and more of a self-serving fake relationship.
Now if you are doing things that do not matter, it doesn't matter.
Me too neither Rose. I don't lie period and I SURE AS HE** would never lie to people I love and respect. I'm not unique. But the liars out there comfort themselves by saying "EVERYONE LIES". That is "alternative fact" bullsh**! In my humble opinion. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednseday!
