For those whose memories are faulty it was a class action lawsuit by former "students" of Trump "University" charging fraud. They didn't get what they were promised so they sued. Why would you pay anything if you were innocent? Especially a guy who is well-known for stiffing folks on what he owes them? Admission of guilt. Period. Now if he could just pay off all the Russia-related investigating individuals who are leading the investigations that are going on simultaneously he could make them vanish too. I don't think Mueller and his operatives would be that stupidly gullible to take bribes though. Do you?
