    States like Texas get bailed out by the Federal government too much.  Time they get weened.

    No.  It doesn't matter outside of Texas.  They operate the way the folks want and they live with the gains and losses of those policies.  It nothing for the entire to country to talk about.  If you live in Texas, talk to Texans.

    No, too simplistic an attitude. The union bails these states out each and every time they shirk their responsibilities. Why have them when you know big daddy will come to the rescue. Ironic isn't it that states that need government the most in times like these are the very same states that are anti government intrusion?
