An Answermugger informed me that The Donald can only pardon Federal CRIMINALS, not state. An end-run around the Trump rump?
So that's why Mueller is getting together with the New York State Attorney General. Trump is a New Yorker. So are his kids and son-in-law. He can't pardon them for crimes against the state. Ain't that great?
