I think they are kind of fond of old things like old movies and old tv shows. I don't know for sure, but it may be because they want to know what people were like before they were turned into technical robots.
I don't know. I have a millenial daughter who does not like Star Wars. And I have two younger than millenials sons (17 and 16) the 17 yr old loves Star Wars, the 16....can take it or leave it. So in my personal experience it is a draw.
