  • Honestly, I get really tired of these "diet experts" and their constantly-changing information. Every year there's a new contradictory study that comes out telling us what's poisoning our bodies and what's good for us. "Actually, fat is good. Actually, turns out fat is bad. Actually, turns out it's good again. Actually..." I recently heard a study saying red meat and high fat is good for you. I never pay attention to any of it. It's all hot air, latching onto whatever trend happens to be in vogue.

People just need to eat a balanced diet with a big variety of foods included.  Please, don't let the media tell you what to eat.................and ignore the new studies...........those things are published to push an agenda in most cases.  For every study there is another to discredit it.  People who love carbs think the best way to eat is low fat.  People who love meat say leave off the carbs.  Best to eat it all, in moderation.  Count calories to lose weight........not chemical reactions.

No, but most of what we eat, we're biologically pre-programmed to. It's the fact that we've bastardized food that's the problem. Things usually taste good to us because we need some component of them, but we process all the nutrition out and replace the healthy aspects with fillers. If we were eating cleaner unprocessed foods, the amount of fat and carbs we get would be fine- in fact, healthy. But, we go for the box or can of random crap on a shelf and hit drive-throughs. That's not what nature intended at all.

  • "No, I missed it."  Wouldn't have read it anyway. Food claims and exercises ... one month they're good, next month they're bad.
