    I dont know who Jeff Sessions is, but if he says good people dont smoke weed, sounds like he is a big doofus to me. I dont trust anyone who would say something stupid like that.

    I also know good people who smoke pot. And I also know that it has caused in their lifes and none is good. Families destroyed,  parents loosing and just giving up their children. Loosing jobs. Not getting jobs. 
    Because of actions taken while high.

    Really?  Are you sure they're not doing other drugs?  Honestly, I know quite a few people who smoke it, some for medical use, and they haven't had any of the issues you mention.

    I only know one person who smoked it and was able to maintain a normal life.

    I know many people who smoke regularly and as long as they're not putting marijuana over their other responsibilities it all works out just fine. I don't think people truly understand the effects of marijuana, and how mild they really are. I do believe that some people are more inclined to handle their high better, but I've never in my life seen a family destroyed or a job lost over a recreational marijuana habit.

    Interesting. It does sound like perhaps they got into something else. But you know them better than I do. I've never seen it stem so deeply into other areas of a person's life.

    I'm not questioning your veracity m2c but, I'm really having trouble processing what you're saying.   I think this is something we'll have to agree to disagree on.  I've never seen anyone's life spiral out of control from smoking pot.

    Before you become too critical of Attorney General Sessions keep in mind that marijuana is still illegal in all 50 States and the several US territories, still classified as a Class 1 Controlled Substance. Federal enforcement is just one pen stroke away from his point-of-view and very much within his power to recommence enforcement of the appropriate Federal statutes.
