Some climate change deniers say that the media hyped IRMA up and made it much more serious than it really is. Agree/dis?

  • Maybe that motivated more people to evacuate and thus there was less loss of life. I don't see why hyping a hurricane must be a bad thing. Hurricane reporting relies on weather predictions anyway, which can change out of nowhere.

    I don't know about that. I know a climate change believer or whatever who thinks it was hyped up, but he thinks the media overreacts to everything.
