Which celebrity seems more deeply in love with himself/herself than any other in your opinion? Is it justified?

    Nothing compares.

And that is all he is.  A negative celeb.

No president material here.  American Evangelicals need entertainment it seems.  Their lives have been too dull for them and Jesus.

  • Hmm...I don't know if any of them are really deeply in love with themselves because they crave attention so badly, you know what I mean?
Like if you're talking about Trump then honestly there's probably something really quite sad that makes him want power and adulation and causes him to overcompensate.
He might appear like he loves himself but I think he is desperately trying to prove that he's somebody.

There probably are some incredibly talented celebrities that wake up and look in the mirror and can't help but smile.
I imagine Adam Levine and a few others are pretty happy and might technically love themselves, but who really knows?

Not that it's a bad thing because these are hard working, talented people. : )

You could have picked better ones than these powerhouses of talent.

Like Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian.

  • I guess it depends how you look at the question?
I feel like these celebrities could legit look in the mirror and be like "Wow, I am really blessed, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!"

Good for them is how I look at it, but if the question is just about the negative side of fame and arrogance and undeserved attention then yeah the Hilton's and Kardashian sisters are definitely symbols from that side of "Celebrity."

  • I mean is this question sarcastic?
    Is it supposed to mean:
Whch celebrity is undeserving of their fame or which celebrity probably does and should love themselves and why?

I really don't know. I am just chatting with ya.  I see what you mean.  I am just typing what I am thinking out loud. I really do see your point completely.

    Love,

    Sharonna

That is a very nicely articulated reply Truthseeker. I think you are undoubtedly a very kind person. When I encounter folks who are full of themselves I back away and stay there.  I cahn't stend arrogance or condescension or being patronized.  Folks who think they are better than others aren't. We all have strengths and weaknesses. They're different from one another but that makes us all AVERAGE. So those hoity toity folks (did you see  Steve Bannon being interviewed on 60 Minutes? Perfect example of a simpleton jacka** who thinks he is smarter than everyone else) are not my cuppa tea. I think modesty and being humble and appreciative and grateful goes a long way to making for a decent human being. Pride and a feeling of superiority masks inadequacy in my opinion. And I have no sympathy for them whatsoever. Happy Friday.  You'd probably be a very good counselor or maybe even psychiatrist. If these folks came to me whining about whatever I'd tell then to take a hike. I wouldn't be very good at listening to successful and wealthy people complain about anything! I know my limitations! :)

  • Aww...thanks.
I never really thought about being a counselor but maybe I would do that?
I've certainly been through some experiences in my life that might help me to relate to the suffering of others.

You always say the nicest things to me Rosie and I appreciate it.
You told me that I am a writer and I've never been told that in my life.
I don't even have a diploma and I've always worked with my hands, but I was so flattered by that.
Thank you and Happy Friday to you as well. : ) This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at September 15, 2017 10:43 AM MDT
