maybe because to kill something it has to be a living thing: so people kill people they despise and food is non-living so if you despise a certain food, just don't eat it.

Good point although there are some foods that are "living". Raw foods that haven't been processed or heated. You can also avoid the people you despise. Why seek then out to destroy them? I don't get war. It is based on hate and greed. All we have to do is dispense with both and VOILA! Peace at last.  Thank you for your reply ally and Happy Sunday! :)

Rosie, I made a mistake, plants are living things too, so fruits/veggies , if you despise certain foods then don't eat them- people don't go around a vegetable farm, screaming, " I hate broccoli " and take the broccoli out of the soil before it has fully grown.
I get your point about people despising each other "why can't we all just get along." Peace, love, and happiness, :)) Respect: someone might believe something different then I do, I'll leave them alone to live their lives, just leave me alone to live my life. Other people/countries despise America/or opposite because we have different values, how we live our lives, we need to leave each other alone and just respect each other's life choices.

You are very colorful m'dear! I feel like saluting the red, white and blue reply ally! Wouldn't it be a ridiculous thing to do as you suggested? Scream "I hate broccoli" and pull the plants out of the ground and destroy them? So too is doing that to human beings in my opinion. Just avoid them. You don't have to annihilate them! I totally agree with one important caveat. As long as how you live your life doesn't negatively affect other people. As long as you do no harm you have a right to live your life as it suits you to do. I don't get why some people feel such a need to control others. If they just control themselves that would be quite good enough. Thank you for your reply! :)
