  • In general, I prefer not to do so. Most of what I can think of as "ghostwritten" are autobiographies, and I'm rarely interested in those.

    Oh, you all have. Virtually everything is ghost-written now; it just isn't marketed as such.

    Yep.
    One of my favorite authors died a number of years ago, and one of his daughters took some of his notes on future books and fleshed the stories out for publication.
    But even before he died, he had assigned one of his series to a "ghost writer".  You could tell, because the "flashbacks" kept increasing and getting longer in those books.  It got so bad, the last book I read was over 50% flashback of previous books in the series.
