Discussion»Questions»Politics» Oh get this. Trump is lying to his base and telling them he is responsible for employment being at its highest right now bwaaahaaahaaa!
As I have pointed out numerous times before, on multiple forums ... it's ridiculous for the President to get credit OR blame for employment figures. So why do people (including the media) still do it? Because they are ignorant.
Now if you want to tie Trump to a ridiculous claim about unemployment specific to HIM: The same numbers he is using now, he said during his campaign were untrustworthy and nowhere near the actual figures.

ANY President who claims they have "Facts" to back up a claim they affected unemployment to any measurable degree is a bald-faced liar.
Let's see ... who has more weight to determine if a company hires? 1 - Billions of consumers deciding how/where to spend their money. 2 - A single individual with limited power to regulate agencies.
My 2 cents posted a graph that proves it. Uneemployment HAVE gone down )by 0.2% from 4.6% in Obamas last month in office to 4.4% now (and last month it was even lower at 4.3% )
What graph was that. The Evangelical graph of all that is true and right?
Cut it out.
Who is this clueless?
Really?
Really?
The work Obama did is still in EFFECT genius.
No one changes job structure in 6 months.
Trump once more is riding on the coattails of anyone he can. He does NOTHING. NOTHING. NOTHING. EVER.

Its NOT about the link, Jakob, its about trust that the link or the graph or the poll or whatever proof there is, actually is proof of something.
I try and post a lot of things that have merit, I am wrong sometimes, but some people are usually wrong (most of the time anyway) and to see their name is proof enough as a rule.

The employment rate and the unemployment rate are not one and the same. You can find all of the figures on the website for the bureau of labor statistics. Employment is at its highest since 2010 (it's a ratio of population 16 and over to employment). Unemployment is also low at 4.4%. Since 2007 we haven't seen unemployment consistently under 5% like we are now seeing.
Your president is not lying. Neither is he completely responsible for it.
