Since when has respect for the flag been more important than your right to protest it?

Blind allegiance is reserved for a RELIGION. Is that what patriotism is now?

  • Good question. The way people act about the flag has always disturbed me a little. In some cases it borders on idolatry.

Blind is not the sane action for ANYTHING.  Politics OR religion.

People who ascribe to blind need to donate their wool for a sweater and be useful for SOMETHING at least.

It is not what patriotism IS: but it is more and more what Patriotism looks like :-(
