Crisp fall air, colorful leaves, pumpkins, apple cider, bonfires, drives in the countryside, and flashers putting their coats back on after a long, hot summer.

It's always been my favorite time of year. :-)
I know everything is dying off, but I come alive during the fall time.  There's nothing better than seeing a canopy of dizzying colors and feeling that cold bite in the air.  I can't find my better photos during peak leaf season but, this is a pic of the road I live on, before the leaves peaked in color one year.

And here is a pic of a young bull moose in my yard.  He had been eating apples off the trees but unfortunately, I scared him trying to get a good photo of him.

Yes dear, I luv watching those trees so colorful, so vibrant but feel sad that it is all momentary!

LOL Veena.  Don't worry.  Where I live, the moose are very timid and run away when you step outside.  Sadly, their population isn't as strong as I'd like to see it.  I haven't seen a moose in the yard in a few years.  I get deer, and as you saw from my SCAT question, I get black bear, along with other smaller animals.  The coyotes are more of a threat than the other animals.  There seems to be a resurgence in their population this year.  I have to keep little Harry on a short lead at all times.  Even though he sticks close to me, I can't take a chance another animal won't grab him.

Where I live, my yard was a "moose thruway" at one time.  They used to always pass through and you could hear them calling out during rutting season.

If you want to see Moose and other wildlife, plant fruit trees, bushes, and other edibles.

LMFAO!   Good thing I like you.

Nah.  I finally realized a long time ago that didn't work.  I'm too far away for men to hear me.  Now, I just go to my local pub and scream out: "Hey, come and get it."  Much more effective.

They are!  It's amazing to watch them run.  It's like watching a barn on stilts. lol.   A number of years ago, one dashed out right in front of my car just down the road from my house.  It was surreal.  They really are a breathtaking animal IMHO.
