Are you so certain that all your views/beliefs/opinions are right that anyone who sees the light will share them?

How did you arrive at that conclusion? Not that what you think/believe is true only for YOU but that it is true for everyone else too and if they don't realize it the fault lies with them? Really? It must be swell to feel/think like that. All-knowing. Certain. Unshakable. Positive. No wiggle room.

I was like that as an insufferable teenager, but thankfully I grew out of it. I think most of us go through the know-it-all phase.

I didn't Patch. Not because I was so much smarter than others but because I was a painfully shy child and wanted more than anything to be invisible. When the teacher would call on me in school I'd get so nervous and blush and stammer. When you live inside that emotional state there is no room for being arrogant or pompous or condescending. I was the farthest/further thing from know-it-all ness you've ever seen. I still am.  Why do you think I'm always asking questions? Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday! :)

I was quiet, too, but my old journals have shown me what a brat I was on the inside. At least I kept it contained.
