If everyone were honest/honorable and there were no crooks would we still need to have lawyers? Why?

Yes, not all lawyers are criminal lawyers. There are tax lawyers, corporate lawyers, estate planning lawyers, immigration lawyers, bankruptcy lawyers, personal injury lawyers....and that's just off the top of my head. Consulting an attorney does not make you a crook.
