    No sanity.

McCain has brain cancer and he is saner than that thing we have running the country.

President Donald Trump slammed Arizona Sen. John McCain at a rally on Friday night after the senator said he would not be voting in favor of the Republicans' new bill to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Trump called McCain's opposition to the Cassidy-Graham bill "terrible, honestly terrible" at a rally for Alabama Sen. Luther Strange.

"They gave me a list of 10 people that were absolute no's. ... John McCain was not on the list," Trump said of the first health care vote. "It was a totally unexpected thing. Terrible. Honestly terrible. Repeal and replace, because John McCain, if you look at his campaign, was all about repeal and replace, repeal and replace. So he decided to do something else, and that's fine. And I say we still have a chance. We're going to do it eventually."

McCain says he opposes Graham-Cassidy bill as other Republicans weigh options

Public prefers Obamacare to Graham-Cassidy, 56-33% (POLL)

The president followed up on the criticism via Twitter on Saturday morning.

Trump said he was still holding out hope Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., would change his vote. He even managed to level a shot at McCain as he lauded Paul's chances of flipping to "yes."

"Wouldn't it be ironic if he took John McCain's place?" Trump said. "And they definitely do not like each other."

McCain had said earlier in the day he could not "in good conscience" vote for the bill.

“I cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal. I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried," he said in a statement.

"Nor could I support it without knowing how much it will cost, how it will affect insurance premiums, and how many people will be helped or hurt by it."

The success of the bill, pushed by Bill Cassidy, R-La., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., rests on the decisions of fellow Republicans Lisa Murkowski from Alaska and Susan Collins, of Maine. Both voted against the last effort to repeal the Affordable Care Act, which was sunk when McCain decided in the eleventh hour to vote "no."

McCain has once again betrayed the people who voted him. He ran on repealing Obamacare.  He voted more than once to repeal it when it was guaranteed Obama would veto. But as soon as we have a Pres who will sign it, he votes No.

Trump has betrayed everyone.  Not McCain.

Who can accept this piece of trash and sign off on it?  Are you kidding?  There are LEGITIMATE questions he is asking.  This repeal and replace garbage has not even had one testing to see how much it will even COST.  ARE YOU SERIOUS?

Thank GOD McCain has enough sense left with a brain filled with cancer to stop someone who IS a cancer.  Someone who's only motive is to get rid of anything with Obama's name on it.  That is his only mission.  He could care less about putting 26,000,000 people out of health care insurance.

Could care less.  And neither do you care.  Because you just have to keep coming on here and give Trump cheers no matter what.

"Nor could I support it without knowing how much it will cost, how it will affect insurance premiums, and how many people will be helped or hurt by it."
DOESN'T THAT GIVE YOU PAUSE AT LEAST?  NO.  Just TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP all the way. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at September 25, 2017 7:14 AM MDT

Yes.  It is.  Some flip-flops are for a reason.

You bank on something that should be one way, but it is not.  It is damaged goods.  It doesn't work.  You don't stay flopped when the BILL IS A BIG FLOP.  Just because some loyal Trump follower who has not one freaking clue about anything, calls you names.

McCain has always been a flip flop.  You know that...probably more than I do, he is your Senator.  No McCain could care less what I think...I don't live in AZ.
My Dem Sen needs to worry...she is gonna go home.

MC Cain has betrayed no one.
He has the awareness to see that it is not a good bill to sign.
He can see that more people will be hurt than helped.
Apparently you do not care about the needs of the people.

When a politicians campaigns saying this is how I will vote....this is how I have voted, then after the election he votes the opposite.  That is a flip flop and a betrayal of his voters.

The fact that I am sticking up for McCain just goes to show how far TRUMP crossed the line with me.

There is no unfair here.  There is only TRUMP and how to thwart this menace.

McCain is an arch conservative when it comes to money.  He sees this bill is trash.  It is not what he expected.   It is NOT what he was promised and he cannot in good conscience promise the people of his state that is it s a good idea.  SO? Should he have done his homework better?  No, he should never trust TRUMP to even come close to accuracy.

THE BILL IS TRASH LADY.  TRASH.  This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at September 25, 2017 8:15 AM MDT

The DAY the STUPID GOP with it's head up its butt let Trump in the mix so the PIG could get elected?  That's when the LINE was CROSSED.

McCain is an arch conservative.....in nothing that is why he had no chance to win the Presidency in 2008. He is the very definition of  RHINO. This post was edited by my2cents at September 28, 2017 5:08 AM MDT

    This is NOT about McCain.

This is about TRUMP.  McCain is not my favorite anything and I don't pay any attention to him as a rule.  He just happens to be taking a stand that makes sense right now.

He lost the 2008 Presidency because he SUCKED and was full of crap.

He had SARA PALIN as a VP.

That was like TRUMP as his VP.

If Palin tried running this time? She would have won.  She was stupid, but not as stupid as this moron who won.
Anyone that was against Hillary would have won because the election was FIXED.  Hello???

Do you seriously think Trump was better than PALIN?  If he could make it?  ANYONE COULD MAKE IT.

Hillary did not lose. TRUMP STOLE THIS ELECTION.

Compared to that atrocity?  Flip-flopping is minor. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at September 25, 2017 8:29 AM MDT

You are once again dodging the point of the question m2c. Why do you do that? I am talking about a president who has no compassion or pity for a dying man and you come back with how terrible a Republican McCain is. Which puts you in the same boat as Doofus Donny in my opinion.  As a Christian woman I am SHOCKED at your utter and complete lack of empathy. Different strokes. Thank you for your reply.

Just because he is dying does not mean he can lie to his constituents.  You would think because he is dying he would be worried about not lying and correcting any errors.
I would never wish such an illness on anyone.  I have prayed for both him and him family. But an illness is not an excuse for breaking a promise...even a campaign promise.
