Is your mind made up? Are you immovable as a mountain or, are you easily swayed?

In staying with my MIND theme, do you feel it would take a blast of TNT to get you to change your mind on a position?  OR, is it possible for someone to change your mind?  Are you a hard a$$ or a flip flopper?  Or maybe it's somewhere in between.  Please explain.  In the meantime.....

I'm as thick as Oprah Winfrey off her diet. I absolutely pride myself on it. I refuse to consider other perspectives. That's what makes me so loving and empathetic.

An incubator of ignorance is a closed mind; either your own or the influence of someone else's.

I have come to understand the value of an informed position, built from a review of available data and continually refined by new findings. The value of an open mind is too great to ignore. This post was edited by Don Barzini at September 26, 2017 7:59 PM MDT

You've made a good point, and have convinced me to change my position on many matters.  Thank you.

    Things change, Harry, WE change.
We evolve; or we choose not to.
It is then consistent that we allow room for our understandings to evolve, also; or we won't.

check mark next to inflexibility.  Thank you for your participation.  You win a trophy. ;-)

I'm going to add that to the list of issues I will give to JA.  I've had the same freaking problem!  Also, I "like" responses and, when I go back to see subsequent answers, those "likes" have disappeared.

  • Lol :) I know I posted as I was walking outside for a bit .... my main issue with this site is not geeting notifications on my own questions when answered... I see them when I post cos watch feeds. But other than that is a crap shoot if I see them :/

That sometimes happens when someone deletes and re-posts their answer/comment.

    Guilty as charged.    :-(
