Amazingly ignorant is The Donald John. Why didn't he know that Puerto Ricans are American citizens?

When Governor Ricardo Rossello of Puerto Rico first sent word to Trump that a humanitarian crisis was unfolding he was shocked at the response.

"The president told me that I should get in touch with the leader of my own country if I wanted help. I don't think he understood that we are  part of the United States and that Puerto Ricans ARE AMERICAN CITIZENS."

    More than half of Americans did not know this. Do you, personally, personally know whether people in all other US territories are citizens: Guam, America Samoa, the US Virgin Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands? Do you understand whether or not Puerto Ricans can vote in the Presidential election? Just wondering....
