Anyone who creates terror, who doesn't care for another life is mentally disturbed!

Savvy, such ghastly incidents make us wonder whether we are safe at all?

Veena, the short answer is we are not. But we simply cannot LIVE in a constant state of fear.

Agree Savvy, but when such incidents occur, it just shows how vulnerable we all are!

I don't think that the Fox TV show "Family Guy" is coming straight from the top. Seth MacFarlane my think so, but it's not.

"Lone wolf", "mentally deranged", "pure evil". The big orange dotard refuses to call white people terrorists.

A "terrorist" by definition is a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims. So, do you have someone in mind that fits that definition that our President has not called out as such or are you just having an "emotional" day?

Yes, I believe that donald dump has very specifically avoided calling his KKK buddies terrorists, even though the FBI has hundreds of open investigations into these domestic terrorism groups. The FBI calls them terrorists, but the dotard in chief won't.

May I ask why you would suggest that I was having an "emotional" day? Would that be because I'm a woman, or because you and I clearly have very different beliefs, opinions and values?

I sincerely hope that you can somehow find some peace, love and compassion in your life.

I didn't realize that the late Democrat Senator from West Virginia was a friend of Mr. Trump's (learn something new every day . . . ). But I do wonder how Senator Bird (long admired by Hil-LIAR-y Clinton, by the way) felt about the FBI calling his "brotherhood" terrorists (You do realize that the KKK is but a mere shadow of its former self, and shrinking in numbers every day?)

But I do feel obligated to point out where you're wrong about Mr. Trumps position on the KKK. Here's a couple of articles from less-than-right-wing news sources that attest to the President' denouncing that particular group (it's not even considered an organization anymore, and to think that it used to be the pride of the Democrat Party . . . ):

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2017/08/14/trump-denounces-kkk-neo-nazis-as-justice-department-launches-civil-rights-probe-into-charlottesville-death/?utm_term=.b605bb60399c

As to your chromosomal make-up . . . I had no idea that you're female, really. The use of the phrase "having an emotional day" actually refers to a scene in the movie Kingsman: The Secret Service where Colin Firth's character used that line just prior to mopping the floor with some bullies.

By the way, I base my beliefs, opinions and values on actual facts like the ones presented in the Washington Post and National Public Radio such as is referenced above. That probably accounts for any differences between our thinking. So again, do you actually have someone in mind that fits the definition of terrorist or have we traveled full circle back to that line from Kingsmen?

    Yawn.

Maybe you should've read the links you sent. From the Post article:

"And though he condemned racism, Trump did not refer to the attack on the counterprotesters as “domestic terrorism,” even as Sessions said that it met the Justice Department's definition of such."

    Double yawn . . .

Trump didn't refer to it as domestic terrorism because it wasn't an act of domestic terrorism, irrespective of the fact that you seem to think that anyone with white skin is another "domestic terrorist" just hiding behind a tree ready to get you.
