If you meet a guy and he says let's make sticky, to put it as politely as I can, since this is on the main boards, he's talking about an exchange of/co-mingling of bodily fluids. This post was edited by Harry at October 4, 2017 12:12 AM MDT

  • I thought that this question had been asked before, so I went back through 25 pages of "answerMug" category questions and didn't find it.
Soooo ... if you want to continue the search ... start on page 26 or wait of JA or my2cents.

My guess ... there used to be an icon button that halted a discussion, without eliminating it. (perhaps to await an AM Staff decision.)
    Again ... just a guess.

If the make sticky is activated it keeps the question at the top of the category it is in. Rather than in the timeframe it was asked or last activity on it.

  • I thought you'd never get here! (at least I kept it on the main page longer)   Thank you :))

Who gets to decide if sticky will be or will not be?

I don't know  if a regular user can click the make sticky. I know a user with moderation ability can....
