Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Does what you are politically affect every other aspect of your life? Can't you separate it out and leave the rest of you intact? Why?
No, I have my God, family and business. Those may influence my politics but politics will not influence them.

I wonder if you know WHY I asked this question m2c? It's about thee and me. Despite our political differences we have enough in common in other places of our lives that I consider you to be a friend. I said that today on a question thread. Our politics couldn't be more different. Yet when I was going through tough times you were right there to care. Politics has nothing to do with that. We can separate them. I wonder why others are unable to do so. Do you know? Thank you for your reply! :)
Yes. But m2c and I are friends. Despite our vast political differences she was there for me when I needed someone to care long ago. So I asked the question. Thank you for your reply Shar.

I agree Shar. m2c and I are as opposite politically as human beings can be but we do have many other things in common. I don't believe in throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Seems silly to me. Thank you for you reply! :)
No. I find it quite easy. We need to get along with different people who hold different political views, so I cannot allow politics to rule my life and relationships.
