Are gossips always derogatory or are they also complimentary? Are men worse gossipers than women or is it a draw?

    Always derogatory.

    At least it is laced in secrecy and talking behind someone's back.  So it is negative even when complimentary.

    The positive gossips are just called good- natured big -mouths.   They are striven to be nice.  Like our President.

    Hope he keeps on trying. He might actually make it one day although between thee and me I don't think he has the "right stuff" to be nice. And he is way too old to learn new tricks. Thank you for your reply and the graphic.
