It was like we were in hell for months and the angels descended from heaven in the form of the people you mentioned, and appeared with liferafts in the form of speech that reminds us all of what we are NOT.
We are NOT stupid. We are NOT hateful morons. We are a nation of ONE people; not THEM versus US. We are uniting. We may have severe disappointments from our elected choice, but we are wise enough to unite and bond in order to fight EVIL.
World War II, 911 and this election are the three most momentous times of this Century. Even though one of them was from the prior Century. It's fingers can still be felt.
1. World War II - no matter what our differences in the USA at that time period and there were INTENSE racial differnces from Irish, to Italian to Black to Puerto Rican, we all Came TOGETHER to fight Hitler. We knew where our priorities lay and we knew that our brothers' and sisters' American blood was thicker than Hitler's piss water he was forcing down our throats.
2. 911 and the Twin Towers - We united as a nation that day. We cared. And for the most part, we cared about what mattered. Each other's welfare.
And now. We are uniting in a desperate scramble to oust Donald Trump. We are saying the right things and acting and behaving the right way. We are talking about true hope with plans behind the word HOPE. Not just empty hot air.
We are not trying to say anything back that is a lie. We are pointing out the danger of TRUMP. From Bernie Sander's impassioned plea and honest reasons, to Al Franken and Sara Silverman's actual political involvement coupled with celebrity. IT was masterful. I loved it.
Well so far I think he has 13 million of 'em locked and loaded and ready to go. How many more he picks up between now and election day is anyone's guess. I know the racists/bigots/homophobic hatemongers are his and he owns them. I wonder who else will come abroad knowing Putin loves him and wants him to win so much his government hacked the Democratic National Convention emails and released them to Wikileaks? I thought last night was very good too Sharonna. It didn't have quite the magic of the first night but I think Sanders FINALLY got control of the Bernie or Bust folks and they finally shut up. I guess we will see tonight and tomorrow night if they can control their rancor and bitterness and sour grapes . It is not becoming to them and they don't seem to give a sh**. To me they are the Dem equivalent of the Tea Party. Not a good thing. Will they do as much damage to the Dems as the Tea Party has done to the Republicans? I don't know. Time will tell.. If Bernie doesn't get and keep control of his hooligans he will have done a very grave disservice to our country and will have helped Donald J. Trump enormously. I'm sure that was not his original intention. When he got booed by his own supporters I lost any respect I had for them.

Oh Ele...different subject entirely. I just looked up Erik Kynard and read all about him and we will be watching for him. Boy how proud you must be of him. Hah. I know someone who not only knows an Olympic athlete but has a personal history with him! Fancy that?
