    There have certainly been many precedents set as a standard of living if other planets should one day be inhabited by humans.

    Thank you for your reply Autumn and Happy Tuesday!   I think humans are capable of great things, good things, wonderful things. But they are also capable of doing the  most awful things to one another, other living things and the planet.
