The cost of flying Air Force 2 per hour is $42,936. Flying from D.C. to Indianapolis one way takes 2-1/2 hours so round trip is 5 hours. Cost of plane ALONE was over $200,000! That does not include the cost of the hotel reservations for Saturday night or extra police protection or food or staff.
How d'ya like how da prez wantonly and flagrantly and mindlessly spends YOUR money to beat a dead horse? Some would say that money could have been put to better use. Others will defend/excuse/applaud/support/cheer. Go figger! :(
A game between the Indianapolis Colts and the San Francisco 49ers played in Indianapolis was used to stage a "reality show" dramatic moment don'tcha know? How many other staged events will occur futurely planned by the prez to look cool to his base? How much money will he squander away by the time he is bounced/booted/rejected/indicted/impeached? Actually Pence was in town to show support for Payton Manning who's statute was revealed on Sat before the game. And Pence was going to watch the game the next day...since he was in town already.
