Earl Melchert helped Jasmine Block, a 15-year-old who had been kidnapped and sexually assaulted/abused for a couple of weeks by the 3 kidnappers. Melchert said she and her family are the real heroes, not him. Can you imagine someone putting money aside and being satisfied with helping the victim? There are good guys in the world. Too bad they don't command the attention of others. :( Isn't it?
