you should not trust 'mental' specialists/institutions

my story here is not to bash them, they have their function in society but...

the thing is they can say whatever they want on you , and give you trouble, even tho you know its not true...

example, me, an neighbor caused me trouble in the past, and she called the cops on me because i replied to her 'bangs', and whatever.... the cops brought me to the hospital, at the hospital, 'they' wanted to keep me , and transfered me to the psychiatric hospital....

there i had no rights in the sense of my will. i didnt wanted to stay there, but they said that i was hallucinating, and whatever else, and so i didnt wanted to stay there, but they didnt let me go.

and also they wanted me to take a medication... so i stayed in that center for like a month.....

in the end , they said ( not to me  but to my mom and whatnot ), that i live schizophrenia, which is not true at all.....

they all based these facts because of the neighbor who lied to the policemen. that day, i told the policemen that she (the neighbor) was the one who bangs the walls, and she said like 'no, that im hallucinating' , which is trully a lie.

so it ended up saying that im schizophrenic, and givin me medication ( i could refuse, but i have a probation, and its a bit hardy because of the probation too ) .

While there are untrustworthy establishments, I think most people get into mental healthcare because they want to help people.

I also think that if you took a long hard look at your track record and some of the things you've done, you'd realize your responses to stress and such aren't exactly how the general population behaves. I suspect they were looking at your ongoing track record, and not a single incident, when they made your diagnosis. It could well be wrong. I don't know. I don't know you, your symptoms, and even if I did, I wouldn't be qualified to make a diagnosis. What I do know from our interactions here is that, if you ever want to be a healthy functioning person in society, you're going to need help. Whether that comes in the form of medication, counseling, in-patient treatment, or whatever, I have no idea, but those folks- the ones you denounce here- are your best shot at wellness. I hope that you'll stop fighting them and start putting everything on the table with them. It's the only way you'll be able to find out what's really wrong and get healthy.

You can be subjected legally (at least in my state) to be in the hospital for 3 days if you seem to be a danger to either yourself or others and you have no legal right to leave.

But I assume you have the right to a second medical opinion regarding the accuracy of your being diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Go to another doctor and be evaluated.
