We have the same amount of daylight. It just comes in the morning instead of at night. If you got up before noon, you would know that.

Approximately what time do you shower and get dressed every morning, Carbie dear?

(I'm just asking for a friend. You didn't think this is about me, did you?)

I can't see why we can't all stick to standard time for our respective longitude time-zones, year-round. We don't "save" daylight; we don't alter the hours of light and dark; we simply and artificially fit our lives to when we think the sun should rise and set.

Daylight Saving Time. Singular, not plural. Many, MANY people incorrectly refer to it as "savings".
