Are human babies the only babies that cry when they are born?

    Good question, but I don't think anyone would know that. Curiously enough, neither of my children cried when they were born.

    I've seen my dog give birth and the little pups were "crying" in their own way. They were making tiny little yelp sounds. I just don't think most animals cry like humans do, they make different sounds.
