Are democratic countries truly democratic?

Is democracy a uptopian concept that is glamourised to give it legitimacy?

    Democracy....is rule of the majority....mob rule.

    USA is not democracy. It is  a republic.  We elect representation. And we have a constitution to protect all even the minority. This post was edited by my2cents at October 16, 2017 5:40 AM MDT
