Would you fight to clear your name if it were being muddied by others or would simply roll over and let it slide? Why?

I would not because I have better and more productive and joyful things to do with my life.  Goodness the things people have said about me!  And every few years something new starts around.  They invent them of course to make themselves feel better about themselves by putting down someone else. Has always been that way and always will be.
