Married Muggers, how did you meet your Significant Other?

How did you know they were the one you wanted to spend your life with? Was there "a sign"  or did you just say "what the hell" and go for it?

We worked together but at first I didn't fancy her because I had her pegged as a Goody 2 shoe type of girl. Then one fine day we were at a company party at a bar and I got in a fight and she shouted out -  kick his (the other name for a donkey) Bob so I  stated thinking she was my kind of gal and we started dating eventually got married and raised 2 Goody 2 shoe boys .  Cheers!

  • We met at work.  There was no 'decision' to speak of.  We sort of stuck and have yet to become unglued.  Somehow I doubt the bonds will fail.  But no 'sign', no checking for anything, nothing of that sort.  :)

  • Well he's my ex now. He used to buy me things and then I married him but then he stopped buying me things so I divorced him. His name was Randy... >.>

  • I used to see this tough, cute, bouncer with a sexy southern drawl at a club I used to frequent .

While everyone would be off dancing or whatever, I would sit at the end of the bar and talk with him at length and keep him company. He was funny and we hit it off really well.  We dated for almost a year, then decided to tie-the knot :)

A bar.  Neither of us had been to one in a long time either.

We both were bugged by mutual friends to get out of the house and join them for a drink.

Here's the funny part.  Neither of us knew of the other and it was NOT a blind date set up.  Our friends are very social people that will call dozens of others when going out.  We were the only two to show up.

Yes, we immediately hit it off and knew we wanted to be together forever early on.  We both were divorcing long term spouses that we long separated from.

The friends that introduced us?  They are both now divorced after 25 years, but both happy they could be a part in bringing us together.
